Brighter Than Sunshine

It's an absolutely gorgeous day today!  It's the perfect day for college football, enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends, driving through the country with the windows down, or just sitting on a porch with a nice glass of lemonade (or a good beer).  It's days like today that command me to stop and enjoy the beauty and life that God has surrounded me with.  

I know that I still have so much growing and learning to do, so many rainy and stormy days ahead, but it's days like today that remind me of the promise that we are not alone on this journey through life.  It's days like today that fill me with a sense of peace and hope...and for that my heart sings.
